In the Western culture is tight skin considered a sign of beauty. Humans are willing to undergo painful ways to achieve this ‘perfect’ beauty.

The aim of this project was to make a statement about our beauty standards and to rethink these standards with jewellery that reshapes the face in an unnatural way.
